The Story Behind the Bean

Mean Bean Roasters has always been a dream of mine. To allow the world to truly be able to design their own quality coffee blends and at a fair price. My name is Mr. Mean Bean, and I am the head bully here at Mean Bean Roasters.

I stared out as a small Colombian bean... BORING! But soon I found out I could be more. I started mixing and mingling flavors: Cherry, Orange, Hazelnut, Peanut butter. Then, I was old enough to finally have my first taste of flavors like Whiskey and that beautiful Amaretto. Soon I had an inventory of over a thousand flavor combinations at my finger tips!

I called some friends and they were excited to be in on the business. We have our Dark Roast, our French Roast, our House Blends, Espressos, Single Origins, Decafs, heck, even the Teas wanted to be part of it.

Roasting Process

We operate and roast here in the USA, always committed to bringing you the best coffee beans in season from around the world. Each bean is carefully roasted and flavored to your liking. Stick around and maybe you'll get to know all of my friends. And who knows? You may get addicted and Submit to the Bean (if you haven't already, you coffee fiend).

But all in all, we have come a long way. We are very proud of what Mean Bean Roasters has grown into: Quality Coffee with ATTITUDE! A fantastic selection of flavors, all of which you control while constructing your perfect blend.
